There are no course prerequisites for this workshop, although the student should have knowledge of basic computer functionality and Operating System navigation.

    Participant Skill Requirements:
  • Basic Computer Functionality understanding
  • Basic operating system navigation
  • Basic Website Navigation
    Hardware/Software Requirements:
  • Apple Computer, desktop or laptop
  • Webcamera (most apple computers have built in cameras)
  • QuickTime App (most apple computers have this pre-installed)

This course does not require the student to submit any written assignments that must adhere to a writting style guide.

Course Description:

This course is designed to introduce the student to Apple's QuickTime application for the purpose of educational content development. We will review screen capture, video capture, and audio recording, as well as some of the editing features. Interact with your audience by developing engaging content with QuickTime!

    At the conclusion of this course each student will have the ability to:
  • Identify application of QuickTime in educational content development.
  • Produce audio and video educational content.
  • Perform basic editing of recordiings.
